Shutter Installation & Design

What happens next?

Call or email us and we can arrange for one of our trained shutter installers to come and measure your windows free of charge.

Alternatively, you can do a quick measure of your windows (height x width) and we can give you an immediate estimate by phone or email.

When our installer comes out, he will have the shutter samples bag with our range of shutters and colours available for you to choose.

This is not a sales call as the the pricing is done by the shop, where we will aim to get the best possible price for your installation.

Shutters Design

Once the measurements are taken, it’s time to select your shutters and finalise the design. This is where we’ll help you determine the best shutter and frame configuration to suit your specific window style and the overall aesthetic of your home.

Our expert installer will walk you through the options, discussing which frames, panel sizes, and shutter styles will work best with your windows. It’s important to note that not all configurations are suitable for every type of window. This is where our professional experience truly makes a difference. With our guidance, you’ll be able to select shutters that not only look beautiful but also provide the functionality you need.

Whether you’re considering traditional wooden shutters, modern composite designs, or something more bespoke, we ensure that your chosen shutters are perfectly tailored to your space. Every home is unique, and we take pride in delivering a customised solution that fits seamlessly and enhances the character of your property.

Installing Window Shutters

Your Shutters have arrived and it’s time for installation.

All the shutters are very well packaged to avoid damage with 95% of the packaging being recyclable.

The installation is not a messy job as the shutters are custom made and have many pre-assembled parts. Making it fast and easy to install shutters not matter the window type.

The installation is about getting the shutters square and true so you have all nice straight and even lines between the panels.

Any gaps around the shutter frames and your existing window frames are then neatly filled and job done! You have a perfectly fit shutter!

After Installation Care

Congratulations! Your new shutters are installed, and your home has received a beautiful upgrade. To ensure your shutters remain in top condition and continue to enhance your space, here are some easy care and maintenance tips:

  1. Regular Cleaning: Dust your shutters regularly using a soft, dry cloth or a duster. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soapy water, then wipe dry immediately.
  2. Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners or strong chemicals, as they can damage the finish of your shutters.
  3. Check Hardware: Periodically check the screws and hinges to ensure everything remains tight and functional. If you notice any issues, contact us for assistance.

Following these simple steps will keep your shutters looking pristine and functioning for years to come.
